I recently worked for a first aid training provider delivering a range of commercial and paediatric courses. Having worked in the Police Service for many years and as a qualified teacher with a range of experiences teaching different age groups, I have now decided to launch my own bespoke training that I believe is very much needed, both in business and in the community. 2016 - 2018. For an international charity: first aid trainer, assessor and staff mentor: delivering commercial and paediatric first aid courses in companies, classroom settings, schools and universities.
2014 – 2016. Goldcrest Training Consultancy: Stanmore College: teaching first aid, Crowd Safety and Private Security Industry courses. Twickenham Rugby Football Club: Workplace assessor – Crowd Safety.
2013 – 2014. Chandlers Field, Surrey: class teacher, teaching all aspects of the National Curriculum.
2012 – 2013. Kingston University: Graduate Teacher Programme, teaching aspects of the National Curriculum in West London schools.
2011 – 2012. Brooklands College, Weybridge Surrey: part time lecturer teaching Higher National Diploma in Public Services.
2010 to 2012. Metropolitan Police (MPS): tactical lead for delivery of Safer Schools Partnerships; working with GLA, Youth Justice Board and other stakeholders to manage the programme and oversee police officers working in priority London schools.
2008 – 2010. MPS: Teaching PSHE knife crime content at colleges in Lambeth, Southwark, Newham and Haringey on the Young Leaders for Safer Cities BTEC.
2008-2010. MPS: tactical lead for community engagement strategy concerning knife crime (Operation Blunt): Face to face consultation with communities and young people in London colleges regarding knife crime and gang involvement.
2008 - 2012. MPS: Leadership Academy Coach Supervisor, coaching clients from across the organisation and supervising a team of coaches to improve coaching standards and leverage effective performance.
2006-2008. MPS: Subject matter expert and corporate training lead for the Management of Police Information Programme: worked with multi-agencies to ensure effective information sharing and training programme delivery.
2000-2006. MPS: Borough Mental Health Liaison Officer: senior management lead, consulting with health trust professionals to deliver mental health risk assessment processes and multi-agency training.
